Our guest on this Conversation is the Executive Vice President of the American Maine Anjou Association, Blake Nelson. Ron talks with Blake about the breed’s presence here at Congress and several of the programs that are making Maine Anjou a great choice for cross bred programs- including their most recent program called Maine Angus initiative. They also talk about the Maine Anjou junior program which has generated a lot of interest for the breed. We also included in this podcast a brief conversation that Ron had with Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt who stopped by Cattlemen’s Congress to thank breeders from across the US for choosing to show cattle in Oklahoma City.
